$who
mk pts/3 Aug 8 15:07 (**********.com)
to find out who is around to annoy.
then do
$yes FATAL SYSTEM ERROR. SHUTTING DOWN | write mk pts/3

this will print FATAL SYSTEM ERROR. SHUTTING DOWN all over their terminal until you press ctrl-c
